A Facilities Manager to join our team! As the Facilities Manager, you will ensure that the credit union's physical spaces meet the needs of the organization and our members and provide services to support and enhance them. This includes the maintenance and upkeep of the physical environment, compliance of workplace health and safety standards, space management, emergency preparedness, contract management, budget development and adherence, and a forwarding thinking approach to sustainability. In this role, you will directly supervise employees in the Facilities Department and will maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff. As the Facilities Manager, your responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and employee training; planning, scheduling, assigning tasks and establishing goals, and directing work; appraising performance in a timely manner as scheduled; rewarding, coaching, motivating, and advising employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

As a Facilities Manager you will...
Development of a long-term (5-year) facility improvement forecast (life cycle upgrades). Development of the annual facilities budget. Track facility and project expenses to budget.Ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM) is performed in accordance with service level agreements. Assist with negotiating service level agreements as necessary. Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders for completion assigned to maintenance coordinators, subcontractors, and vendors. Oversee facility inspections to ensure all facilities are operating safely and to assist management in fiscal planning. Ensure deficiencies are communicated through the work order system (CMMS) Oversee property management system to ensure facilities are operated in accordance with lease documents and annual property budgets. Ensure invoices are properly processed in accordance with Department procedures. Oversee and assist in resolving problems associated with all building services, including, but not limited to architectural, mechanical, plumbing & electrical building systems. Oversee the maintenance of corporate fleet vehicles, schedule and track maintenance, cleanliness, and repair for all vehicles. Lead the facilities team, manage service level agreements, and ensure vendors adhere to Sound Credit Union's work order and billing procedures. Ensure invoices are properly processed in accordance with Department procedures. Review existing layout conditions ("as built") for each department and branch, to assist with Space Planning. Review facilities project scopes of work, cost estimates and implementation schedules. Conduct regular price comparisons to ensure the reasonableness of costs. Create, manage, and update facility standards as required. Oversee and conduct building inspections and collect data to determine necessary repairs and maintenance costs. Drive to branches and other locations using personal or company vehicle as needed. Complete a weekly Facility Department status report on all pertinent items completed or addressed for the VP of Corporate Real EstateDevelops annual performance plans for direct reports that include clear and measurable key results and objectives (KRO's) that are aligned to support the team's work plan. Leads and motivates work team maintaining consistency, open communication with all staff members, and a positive work environment to achieve the program's goals
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will bring to the team...
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or another closely related field preferred. Three or more years' experience in small works construction required. Two or more years' experience in an administrative role within Facility and/or Operations Management required. Facilities/operational planning, contract administration preferred. Previous management experience or demonstrated experience in a leadership position required. Facility Management Professional (FMP) Certification or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) preferred.

Your compensation:
At Sound Credit Union we believe in paying our employees a fair and living wage. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate's prior experience and education level as it pertains to their role. This strategy promotes a talented and empowering work environment that we hope you will be a part of! Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates, which allows us to offer merit-based salary increases.
Minimum: $80,000
Midpoint: $100,000
Maximum: $120,000
Your hours:
An in-person schedule Monday - Friday: 8 am - 4:30 pm with occasional weekends.
