As a CS Facilities Area Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations of the four Intel Ocotillo site factories, associated support buildings, and infrastructure, in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.Role modeling and ensuring world-class safety values.Relentless pursuit of system reliability and operational excellence.A quality-focused culture that attracts and retains the best talent including staffing plans and year-round people management.Own cost-focused efforts to ensure accurate forecasted spends and cost-saving goals.Relevant and well-managed performance metrics KPIs.Relationships with Intel Fab, Technology Development, Construction, and other stakeholders as well as external suppliers.Capacity commissioning and technology transfer for multiple large and small projects.Quickly address operations and performance issues by using structured problem-solving and task force methodologies.Manage employees and/or outside contractors who operate, maintain, and improve the facility systems.Develop a robust culture where safety, verbatim procedural compliance, operational excellence, and result orientation are driven through strong teamwork, collaboration and structured problem solving.Act as one team with other discipline Area Managers to improve operational and non-operational results across the organization.Lead an operations team in unexpected situations such as safety events, operational impacts, etc.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess one of the following:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or Operations/Supply Chain Management with 8+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing process engineering, manufacturing facility engineering, and operations, or manufacturing facility construction.Or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline or Operations/Supply Chain management with 6+ years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing process engineering, manufacturing facility engineering, and operations, or manufacturing facility construction.
With 3+ years of experience:
Of people management and/or organizational and employee development.In a leadership role in a sustainment of/for a major manufacturing environmentOf cost account management
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with construction and services contracts, Supply Chain strategies, procurement methodologies and, construction projectsUnderstanding cost control strategies
Understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.System commissioning and acceptanceCFM certification
Other Information
Final location for this role will be the Ohio site, with an interim location identified and negotiated with an offer, until the Ohio office premises are available. May require a training assignment in AZ of 9 to 12 months prior to arrival at site in OH. Based on the current project schedule, the official start/need date for this position IN OHIO is Q4'2024.
