Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Tactical Space Systems unit team in Gilbert, AZ. The Gilbert Facilities Manager will report directly to the TSSD Sr. Operations and Strategy Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all day-to-day facilities operations. The Gilbert, AZ Campus consists of multiple buildings that including office, manufacturing, integration and testing.
Role Description & Responsibilities: Manage supervisors and facility technicians to ensure building operations. Monitor and maintain all Facility Department budgets.Manage all Facilities operations.Work side by side with Maintenance Manager, Construction Engineering Manager, Space Planning Manager to ensure internal costumers needs are met on time.Make strategic recommendations on building space accommodations as well as expansion.Determine best method of expansion. Manage the seating plan for approximately 900 employees.Plan, budget, and schedule all facility Op/Ex.Develop long range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for all facilities.Plan, manage, and supervise all aspects of site operations team and all subcontractors.Collaborate with programs to identify goals, create, and implement space and occupancy strategies and plans that maximize the user experience and minimize resistance to change.Coordinate with other Facilities Departments to achieve high quality and timely projects.Coordinate with Space Planning and Strategy Manager to develop and maintain lists and reports of facilities plans, deficiencies and assist with field surveys.Coordinate and assist with the development and planning of campus space inventory and supports the executive team regarding facility space utilization, office moves, related space planning needs such as on campus moves and evaluation of space for new initiatives.Manage cafeteria, cleaning, operations contracts. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS or 7 years of related facilities experience.Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals and facilities Coordinators, including both employees and vendors.Experience with Microsoft Office skills Word, Excel, MS Project, and VisioService Now ExperienceKPI facilities reporting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting a large Manufacturing FacilityInteraction with all levels of the organization and external representatives#AZSpace
Salary Range: $108,400 - $162,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
