Job Summary:
The Forecasting Modeler/Analyst role is on a high-visibility F135 Sustainment Integrated Fleet Support team that executes forecasting, powerplant engineering, maintenance program management, and shop visit cost management. This role supports these four key team deliverables.
The successful Forecasting Modeling/Analyst conducts fleet behavior analytics and forecasting for propulsion system depot repair network and life cycle planning to support the safety, readiness, effectiveness, and affordability of the propulsion system.
Key Responsibilities:
Collection and validation of input and output data for logistics forecast model runs
Development of predictive analytics using simple and advanced lifing algorithm data
Mining of data of data from a variety of different business sources to perform appropriate business analytics
Maintenance and development of flight hour behavior profiles as requested by Sustainment and other F135 Customers
Leveraging Weibulls and other statistical models to develop discrete analysis as needed to find leading indicators which will affect our depot repair network
Methods may include Excel, Minitab, JMP and limited scripting in languages such as R and Python
You’re expected to have regular interactions with internal and external stakeholders on inputs to forecasting. Generating both standard analysis and potential scenario or ad-hoc analysis is critical to successful execution of this role. This position will include periodic presentations to leadership to explain the results of your analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in forecasting and analytics models required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace Logistics, preferred
F135 or other Military Engines logistics experience
Familiar with engine overhaul & repair processes, engine hardware, assembly, operation, and testing

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work regularly offsite. There will be periodic visits to the office for group events.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 94,000 - 196,000; However, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors hen extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and key skills.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
