This is a unique opportunity within Vanguard's FP&A group to own and influence Vanguard's executive scorecard. The role affords the opportunity to interact directly with Vanguard's CFO in preparation for Board approval of scorecard methodology and outputs. The ideal candidate possesses superior relationship management skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels across the Enterprise.
The Executive Scorecard Analyst will: Project manage and drive the annual right start process, crafting recommended targets for the coming year and engaging with MD-1 metric owners for buy in and approval across multiple divisions. Collaborate with teams across all divisions to consolidate information and construct quarterly Executive Scorecard for review by Senior Finance Leadership. Develop and cultivate relationships with new and existing internal business clients to become a thought leader in measuring performance. Produce monthly cash flow reports analyzing both Industry and Vanguard trends for Senior Staff and the Board of Directors. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. What it takes:
Undergraduate degree (Finance preferred) or equivalent combination of training and experience. Minimum of three years of related work experience. Demonstrate competence in financial concepts and analytical capabilities in the preparation of financial analyses and models. Experience with Microsoft Office preferred, other analysis or database software acceptable. Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to interface with people at all levels in the organization. Strong analytical and organizational skills. A bility to quickly gain knowledge of unfamiliar business operations and technology and assertiveness to seek out information through contacts throughout the organization. Special Factors
