Democracy Prep Public Schools is a tuition-free high performing public charter school network operating in New York, NY, San Antonio, TX and Las Vegas, NV educating over 5,500 students, preK-12th grade, on 17 campuses. The mission of our schools is to educate responsible citizen scholars for success in a college of their choice and a life of active citizenship. DPPS created a Strategic Plan to govern its growth, quality assurance, staffing, and sustainability over a five-year period. DPPS plans to build on past success and ensure strong academic outcomes at each of our schools as well as grow responsibly in existing regions. Our scholars are current advocates, future voters, and blossoming leaders in their communities.

Executive Operations Associate Overview
The Executive Operations Associate reports to the Deputy Chief of Staff and works closely with the Chief of Staff and Chief Executive Officer. This individual is a change agent who will execute administrative tasks and projects aligned with the vision and success of the Office of the CEO and the organization at large.

Aid in creating, coordinating and managing administrative tasks for the Office of the CEO.
Coordinate the CEO’s calendar, including daily/weekly schedules and travel accommodations Organize and keep a record of the CEO’s reimbursements, expenses and card reconciliations Support with the logistics and meals for meetings, executive retreats and staff-wide gatherings Support the Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff with the logistics relating to the hiring process for leadership roles that report to the CEO at the direction of the Deputy COS Provide general administrative support for the Equity Steering Committee, Advisory Board, Alumni Association, and b no oard meetings (updating calendar invites, streamlining communication, taking meeting minutes for delegated boards, ordering transcriptions, organizing files) Support with the upkeep of key stakeholder contacts and connections for the Office of the CEO Act as a liaison between the Office of the CEO and other network teams Assist Deputy Chief of Staff with logistics, presentations and event planning of central office events, executive team meetings, retreats, Network Town Halls and gatherings alike Act as a key thought partner to the Deputy Chief of Staff Maintain a welcoming environment at the CMO Office through strong office management
Lead the procurement of office needs for the CMO Office (general supplies, etc). Organize and sort incoming and outgoing mails and deliveries Lead the upkeep of office aesthetics - cleanliness, organization, etc. Serve as the reception area representative at the CMO office as-assigned by the Deputy Chief of Staff Other Administrative Duties
Support centralized procurement as-needed at the direction of the Deputy Chief of Staff and in partnership with the New York Director of Operations for Elementary Schools Coordinate courier requests for schools and CMO teams Perform additional tasks as requested by Deputy Chief of Staff Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience required; 3+ years of experience in executive management with experience in project management Outstanding organizational and task management skills Strategic thinker, creative problem solver, and versatile Excels at building relationships and networks Demonstrated commitment to and action-orientation around equity, inclusion and diversity Experience building strong culture on teams and between cross-functional teams Action-oriented, versatile, and efficient; Proven ability to support and interact with senior management; Proven ability to support and interact with the various Boards of Trustees and stakeholders; An unwavering commitment to and ability to take decisive action in support of Democracy Prep’s mission. Salary is $58,500-$70,000 and commensurate with experience.
