Title: Executive Assistant
Location: Herndon, VA
Forcepoint is seeking a driven, dynamic professional to become an Executive Assistant in support of members of our C-Suite Executive team. The Executive Assistant will serve as the primary point of contact for all essential matters pertaining to the Executives, and act as a liaison between them and senior management teams. You must display the ability to make executive decisions quickly, communicate effectively, and maintain professionalism. You're creative, proactive, adaptive, and assertive. Prior Executive Assistant experience at the C level is a must.
Essential Functions
Maintains Executive's appointment schedule by scheduling meetings and planning through booking conference spaces, ensuring meeting rooms are properly equipped, and coordinating with meeting attendeesAssists with meeting agenda preparation through preparing slides, editing, revising presentation materials, and being a source of ideas and recommendationsAnticipates needs and proactively contacts appropriate people and resources to support the Executive in addressing these issues.Communicates clearly and effectively with the Executive to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilitiesAssists with travel arrangements, manages agendas, provides necessary contacts, and other necessary preparationsCompletes a wide variety of organizational support for the Executive, including drafting and typing correspondence, preparing accurate and timely expense reports for travel, and assists with everything from photocopying to briefingMajority of assigned work will be conducted during standard business hours; however, it is essential that the candidate must be available for early morning, late evening, and weekend work as required by the role
Experience and Education
Executive Assistant experience at the C-level is requiredAssociate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred10+ years administrative experience, with 5+ at senior management levelStrong organizational and prioritization skillsAttention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and build relationships with all levels of managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to handle confidential information with discretionProactive and able to anticipate management needs
