Global Product Strategy & Development is part of Capital Group's North America Client Group. As an ETF Product Specialist within this group, your primary responsibility will be to support ETF product and industry narratives and collateral from development to successful distribution.
As an ETF Product Specialist, you will demonstrate strong technical skills and analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to generate and maintain regular business reporting, create narratives through investment related data, communicate findings to relevant stakeholders, and to tie insights to market narratives and the competitive landscape. They will work closely with the product and marketing teams to develop timely, data-driven reporting and collateral that supports the growth and ongoing monitoring of the ETF business.
You will be accountable for supporting regular ETF product reporting, fueling data & insights to position the existing suite, researching industry trends, and partnering on sales and marketing collateral.
You will work closely with ETF sales specialists, ETF marketing & channel-specific marketing pods, and the broader ETF product team.

Serves as a resource to ETF product and marketing to update, create, and maintain collateral
Provide data updates and markups on a variety of documents, which will require pulling data from a number of systems and sources, or receiving data from various internal teams.Accesses various databases and systems to retrieve current data in order to update a variety of materials, working closely with product, marketing, writers, and copy editors.Able to mine data in external systems like Morningstar, FactSet, Bloomberg and internal systems like FAMISSupports industry product research and incorporates competitive knowledge into ETF materials
Supports development of product specific ETF collateral through timely industry insightsCoordinates with all relevant functions and client groups to manage ETF related narratives.Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
Skills/qualifications:Sound judgment when resolving matters of moderate complexityStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong data skills and great attention to detail for both numbers and textAbility to work in and understand Excel and PowerPoint for data sourcing and updating of materials. VBA knowledge a requirementKnowledge of Morningstar, FactSet, Bloomberg, and other financial data platformsKnowledge of Tableau, SQL, Python, R, and/or Matlab a plusAbility to work in a team environment and across broad, diverse groupsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to effectively manage an unpredictable workload in order to meet established deadlinesWorking knowledge of financial and investment concepts and ability to apply that knowledge to work assignmentsBachelor's degree preferred but not required. Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g. Financial, pharmaceutical, or medical environment) is preferred
New York Base Salary Range: $74,391-$119,026
Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $70,160-$112,256
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
