Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems and STRIKE program has an opening for a Section Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation (T&E) Organization. This leadership role is located in Melbourne, Florida.
The Section Manager will be working closely with the Department Manager to implement department initiatives. You will manage a dynamic team of 10 to 18 engineers supporting system test throughout multiple programs across the Melbourne campus. This role is just for the 20% functional work and the selected candidate will need to retain their current SoW for the other 80%.

Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 9 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master's degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience.Must have a current DoD Secret level security clearance (or higher) and ability to maintain a DoD Secret level security clearanceMust have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.Preferred Qualifications: Master Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management or MBAExtensive knowledge of SIT&E processes, procedures and work instructions required to support both management and engineering tasks at the Melbourne siteCurrent DoD Top Secret/SCI level security clearanceExcellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and managementCurrent STRIKE Program SoWSalary Range: $127,700 - $191,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
