  What We'll Bring:

  The End-User Compute Engineer position is responsible for the day-to-day IT support and maintenance of the TransUnion organization specializing in VMware VDI and Windows 365 virtual environments. The EUC Engineering team implements and configures Enterprise technology architecture solutions. The team's expertise spans operating systems/compute, storage, database, networking, and operations infrastructure, typically involving Microsoft, Mac, or multi-vendor technology stacks.

  What You'll Bring:

  3+ years' experience with VMware VDI and Windows 365 virtual environments supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 with a support and an operations/administration background.

  Plan, design and deploy VDI solutions using VMWare Horizon and Windows 365

  Design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot Virtual environments using VMWare Horizon and Windows 365 tools for the global enterprise.

  Integrate VDI with Azure Active Directory, legacy Active Directory, MFA's, desktop engineering, and Office 365.

  Configure and manage VDI components such as desktop pools, application pools, user profiles, policies, etc.

  Monitor and troubleshoot VDI performance, availability, and security issues with available enterprise tooling.

  Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT staff.

  What we'd like to see:Knowledge of operations management, systems security, security standards, testing processes and protocols, relational databases, network devices and other core infrastructure conceptsKnowledge and experience in several of the following areas:Virtual Desktop platforms and technologies that include VMware VDI and Windows 365VMware HorizonVMware vSphereVMware Blast Extreme protocolVMware Unified Access GatewayVMware Connection ServerSystem Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Current BranchMicrosoft Intune/MEMWindows 10 and 11 Operating Systems, including the ability to drive detailed technical workshops around migration, features, servicing, and security.Group Policy Object analysis, design, implementation, and testing.Microsoft Active Directory services (AD) and Azure Active Directory services (AAD) as well as Hybrid co-management.Deployment methodologies Using Configuration Manager, Tanium, Endpoint CentralHighly developed analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems using a methodical systemic approach.Experience troubleshooting workstations and imaging devices,Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.Exceptional communication, organization/planning, interpersonal, and customer service, support, and response skills.Experience with documenting processes and procedures for both technical and knowledge related purposesImpact You'll Make:
