Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Manage qualified retirement plan design and compliance as well as executivecompensation engagementsDevelop innovative and strategic ideas to identify and solve prospects'and clients' benefits needs and issuesAssume a mentorship role on the team and be a key to future leadership bybuilding strong client relationships and promoting all areas of employeebenefits consulting and complianceBuild and develop new client business and cultivate new business within theexisting client baseThe qualifications.
Bachelor's degree requiredJuris doctor or advanced degree in tax or human resources preferred10+ years of relevant experience required, including experience withaccounting, consulting or law firms serving the middle market, or in-housebenefits and/or compensation experienceSolid working know* 10+ ledge and technical expertise in the areas ofplan design of qualified and nonqualified plans. Demonstrated expertise insome or all of Code Sections 409A, 3121(v), 457, 280G,162(m), 4960, 401(a), 401(k), and 403(b) requiredDesire to build and cultivate new client business. Experience with businessdevelopment preferred, but not requiredPosition may be filled as a senior manager or principal based on applicableexperienceQualified individuals will ideally reside in or near the Metro Detroit orbe willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity; Limited travelthroughout our geographic footprint. May consider Chicago or Denver as worklocationOur difference.
