Electrification & Automation
The Electrification & Automation (E&A) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.
We are looking for an Electrical Assemblers - Level I for 1 st and 2 nd shifts. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
1 st Shift Hours: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
2 nd Shift Hours: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as LV Motor Control Centers.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform sub assembly wiring and final assembly wiring work to the highest level of accuracy and Workmanship
Adhere to developed processes, methods and/or seek ways to improve
Work with large power cables including correct method of crimping connectors
Perform proper stripping and crimping techniques
Assemble components on panels per given layout or drawings
Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others
Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
1+ years’ experience performing mechanical assembly (build) of product.
1+ years’ experience with commercial or industry wiring.
Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists with minimal to no supervision.
1+ years’ experience working with standard hand and power tools both pneumatic and battery operated and wiring tools such as hand crimpers, wire strippers, and accurately read a tape measure.
Must be a strong team player.
Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continual improve the intended outcomes of the Management Systems.
Must be able to communicate in English (read, write & speak fluently).

Preferred Qualifications
Possess some knowledge on electrical clearances
Associates Degree or technical training in area of responsibility
SAP and Salesforce experience

The pay range for this position is $20.36 -$21.36/hour. The actual wage offered may be lower r higher depending on budget, shift and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
