Job Location: Hybrid (Ewing, NJ/Home Office) OR Remote, USA
The eCommerce Digital Shelf Content Syndication Manager will manage the CHD PIM solution (Salsify) and corresponding eCommerce product data and content to syndicate this content across the retailer network, ensuring goals and objectives are being executed for CHD Digital Growth organization. To accomplish these objectives, they will help define workflows and organize content in a scalable, logical structure that meets the needs of multiple retailer platforms. They will demonstrate project management and prioritization skills, work with cross functional teams, justify decisions based on data, and measure results through analytical acumen.
This role requires a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of best practices for the management of content data. Previous experience working with Content Management Systems, specifically Salsify, Syndigo, and large data sets is required. The person in this role will need to be comfortable working both as part of a team and autonomously, effective with juggling various projects simultaneously, and solution oriented in their working style.
Job Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Own implementation, integrations, and management of PIM system
Be comfortable managing and troubleshooting with content syndication platforms like Salsify, Syndigo, and 1WorldSync
Establish and maintain catalog taxonomy, hierarchies, and attributes Collaborate with cross-functional data owners to align product content with source systems and lead efforts to design and deploy new data mappings to ingest content into the PIM system
Define, create, and manage rules to normalize and dedupe content attributes, investigating content discrepancies
Manage the creation and validation of new category/product attributes, and support large content modification projects such as brand change or category updates
Develop workflows and ingestion channels within the PIM system to transform product content to meet the syndication requirements of top retailers
Develop and maintain direct connections from Salsify to priority retailers
Validate retailer template and file format requirements, and send content to retailers using appropriate templates
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Digital Shelf, Brand, Sales, etc.) to enrich content
Provide application monitoring, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution
Work closely with the Digital Shelf team, IT, and PIM system provider to stay current on existing and upcoming features and technology trends
May require coordinating with international teams in support of one enterprise PIM solution
Education and Experience:
Education: BS / BA Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or other related field required
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in CPG industry or retail industry
Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of digital commerce and data management experience preferred
Skills/Competencies:
Experience with Salsify and large data sets is required
Very strong attention to detail, high bias for action, and the ability to roll up the sleeves and dive deep for execution excellence
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Advanced expertise with Excel functions, and experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Demonstrated expertise in understanding workflows and business processes, identifying issues, and providing solutions utilizing PIM and integrated technologies
Experience with change management, securing cross-functional alignment and implementing process improvement
Exhibits flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment
