Director, Business Operations

This team primarily focuses on all aspects of business operations but has a core competency in transportation products and technology . With a unique, 360 view of the business, the team informs product roadmaps, enhances systems configurations, and focuses on improving business infrastructure across people, product, and process. I f you are motivated by complex and highly cross functional transportation challenges , this role is for you.
What we are looking for:
Leadership: Provide strong leadership to a team of operators, proactively removing barriers and implementing forward-thinking strategies to cultivate carrier density in markets with capacity constraints. Business Analytics : Cond uct in-depth investigations into key drivers of transportation challenges, leveraging extensive datasets and performing ad hoc analysis. Develop management reporting that not only presents analyses in a consumable manner but draws insights to make informed and strategic business decisions. Relationship Management : Effectively leverage internal and external partnerships to drive optimal transportation outcomes and foster mutually beneficial relationships. Product Operations Support: Analyze data and understand the desired internal and external customer experience to help product management make better-informed decisions. Be the voice of Transportation operations in product discovery and support roll out o f new features and functionality to Transportation operations teams. Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group by applying lean principles, conducting time studies, and fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams. Implement innovative ideas to enhance processes and optimize efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications :
Leadership experience (8 + years ) A background in Transportation business operations and/or logistics product management ( 5+ years ) Experience building and managing BI Analytics teams ( 2 + years ) Be a problem solver and enjoy planning for the future Be customer-centric and enjoy building relationships Able to learn and adapt quickly and handle multiple projects at one time A self-starter and able to work independently in ambiguous environments

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 5 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related
area OR 7 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
3 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
2 years' supervisory experience.
