  Position Description:

  Designs, develops, and maintains dynamic software products and solutions. Develops core software modules. Conducts business analysis, and writes requirements, models, and corporate valuations. Creates relevant software artifacts to deliver functional specification documents. Conducts data mapping and data modeling to determine technical requirements. Analyzes new-end user requirements for software applications to manage new data vendor feeds. Distills software requirements into clear and concise Agile tasks with well-defined business values and acceptance criteria. Ensures seamless software processes from inception to completion.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Translates strategic objectives into action and prioritizes to improve value delivered. Translates business requirements into system features.Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within the time and cost restraints.Consults on development and delivery of major technology initiatives for the business unit.Consults on deployment of major project deliverables.Consults on the documentation of major technology application.Sets vision, goals, and direction of team/organization.Plans and leads organization-wide initiatives.Provides leadership, technical supervision, and expertise to multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex organization-wide projects.Advises senior management on technical strategy.Researches and recommends new technologies.Regularly provides guidance, training, and coaching to other team members for performance and career development.Identifies and plans for future resource needs.

  Education and Experience:

  Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Product Development (or related occupation) performing product development and business analysis in an investment banking domain.

  Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Product Development (or related occupation) performing product development and business analysis in an investment banking domain.

  Skills and Knowledge:

  Candidate must also possess:

  Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") completing post trade lifecycle projects for Cash Equity, Crypto and Derivatives products - converting business requirements into system features andevaluating data to identify, recommend, and analyze user needs and software requirements to establish the viability of a design within the constraints of time.DE performing FINRA and IRS regulatory reporting for FOCUS, Customer reserve protection (15c3-3), Net-capital computation (15c3-1), and 1099-B Proceeds from Broker Dealer.DE designing complex business processes and system modifications; and making recommendations to improve and support business activities by gathering business requirements and creating logical and innovative solutions for complex problems.DE planning and coordinating project schedules, backlog tracking, and sprint management using Jira; performing manual process automation, improvement, and reporting for project team members using Agile methodologies; translating strategic objectives into actionable insights, using Visio, SharePoint, and Confluence; and breaking sophisticated product features into clear concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria, using Jira.

  Salary: $169,229.00 - $188,400.00/year.
