About the Role
In this role, you will deliver store strategies to enable brands to deliver strong earnings and create competitive advantages. The team integrates and operationalizes all planned activities to enable stores, field leadership and HQ business partners to optimize performance and results.
What You'll Do
We are looking for a Director of Store Workforce Management, Reporting and Analytics to lead the strategic execution and workforce stability and operational excellence across our brands. This role will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of all store labor management and reporting tools and resources that support our North America stores.
This role will be responsible for leading and developing an empowered team responsible for effective large scale workforce management strategies and systems while continuously improving store reporting and analytics capabilities to unleash the potential of store strategies, both brand and company led.
Full oversight and leadership will be required to design, develop, launch, and maintain a robust reporting system to track and analyze store operations key performance indicators. This individual will provide and enable actionable insights and recommendations to various field audiences based on data analysis to improve efficiency, productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This individual will deliver effective companywide deployments with change management principles applied and achieved.
This individual will become a subject matter expert in all Gap Inc Labor Systems and Reporting Systems and enable the future multi-year roadmap through conceptual understanding of current state and best in class future state of labor optimization and reporting and analytics maturity models.
Through the development and implementation of workforce management strategies, this individual will ensure the achievement of store transformation financial goals through partnership with other functions focused on productivity, people, labor and scheduling through standardized labor policies and procedures consistent across brands.
The Director will be a key strategic thought leader to the Store Strategy and Operations Leadership team and Operations through data driven storytelling and influence, marrying brand labor strategies goals and deliverables into a fully integrated workforce management and reporting strategy
This position will build cross-functional and cross-brand partnerships at all levels with Store Operations, Product Management, Field Leadership Teams, Finance, Process and Engineering Teams, Human Resources, Asset Protection and Communication amongst others.
Who You Are
• Creates, develops, and seamlessly integrates strategic store labor and reporting system initiatives designed to drive business efficiencies.
• Manage all aspects of store reporting including the P&L, PowerBI Dashboard, My Insights and Gap Inc WFM (Workforce management) systems
• Maintain global working knowledge of competitor practices; provides bench marking and key insights
• Partners with Store Operations Leadership Team to define, prioritize, and implement strategic initiatives reaching transformation targets
• Leads a team of a Manager, Project Manager and Developers with a strong focus on development through thoughtful and timely feedback.
• Develops and manages strategic labor and reporting system deployment with key change management principles achieved
• Acts as a trusted advisor to leaders, keeping the Brands competitive while understanding the impact of initiatives on customer experience, store workload, productivity, employee engagement, and compliance.
• Analyzes opportunities, designs forecast, drives results and measures the success of initiatives in the store environment.
• Advanced excel skillset (PowerBI and MicroStrategy experience a plus)
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data visualization and reporting tools
• In-depth knowledge of workforce management systems and technologies
• Technical Labor System Experience (MOST certified/ Labor Pro working knowledge) a plus
• Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data that drives labor optimization and store operations
• Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
• Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
• Ability to influence cross brand executives through excellent communication and interpersonal skills to labor and reporting solutions to all stores

Salary Range: $132,100 - $189,600 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
