Overview
We are seeking a Director of Food & Beverage Cost Control. This position is responsible for the development of efficient beverage inventory and purchasing operations for all F&B. Analyzes data to seek and recommend efficiencies for purchasing, labor management within F&B. Utilizes Craftable and Beverager as well as other software to track, inventory and order beverage for all F&B. Creates dashboards and other useful reporting to ensure F&B leadership and Steering Team are apprised of progress towards strategic and projects goals. Work with Finance on proper forecasting of revenues and COS as well as creating targets and challenging F&B leadership in achieving these. Will own and maintain POS programing and auditing for pricing and functionality.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in beverage management, hotels preferredAbility to interpret financial and operational data into operational planStrong time management and negotiation skillsAbility to work extended hours when requiredFood/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicableWorking knowledge of wine, liquor and inventory methodsWorking knowledge of purchasing and supply chain managementWorking knowledge of financial statements and understanding of beverage cost impactRead, write and speak English fluentlyMeet minimum age requirement of jurisdictionAbility to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
