　　In this role, you will steer the engineering course for our expansive Bangalore operation. As a pivotal figure, you'll contribute to establishing and steering the daily operations of our offshore engineering sphere. Your charge is to set the benchmark for excellence in product delivery and sustainable engineering. Your scope extends to recruiting and nurturing technical leaders and engineers for our Bangalore site, overseeing their performance and professional evolution. In collaboration with Product Leadership, you'll set KPIs, elevating execution quality and productivity. Your leadership will be instrumental in cultivating engineering proficiency across teams, fueling elevated skills and practices. Furthermore, you'll share ownership in driving business outcomes alongside our Consumer and Developer product teams.

　　Your Responsibilities:

　　Engineering Leadership: Assume a strategic mantle within the engineering organization. Display unwavering accountability by meticulously executing tasks, keeping stakeholders informed, and consistently going beyond expectations to drive results enterprise-wide. Your technical acumen will underpin your ability to conduct design reviews, maintain and review code in one or more languages, guiding the organization toward successful technical outcomes. Recruitment, Training, and Engineering Management: Embark on recruiting, training, development, and leadership of an elite engineer cohort. Shape the long-term trajectory of your team, elucidating clear priorities and weekly deliverable expectations to realize that vision. You'll deftly navigate a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and steering them toward key milestones. Onboarding and retaining over 30 engineers for product development teams falls within your purview. You'll also engage in performance management, steering individuals' career growth and addressing underperformance. Communication: Undertake the leadership of high-visibility strategic endeavors, collaborating seamlessly across disciplines to frame challenges, grasp opportunities, and engineer solutions. You'll harness data-driven storytelling prowess to adeptly convey your recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders. Your communication skills, both written and oral, will be exemplary. Your Proficiencies:

　　Over 10+ years of experience in software engineering More than 4+ years of hands-on management of a high-performing team of Engineers, Engineering Managers, and Tech Leads. Adept at cultivating relationships and exerting influence across diverse disciplines, particularly with stakeholders based on the West Coast of the US. Proficiency in conveying highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Familiarity with site-building leadership or establishing a new company/branch office from the ground up (0->1). Hands-on technical prowess in system design, coupled with the capability to conduct code maintenance and review, spanning languages such as Java, Go, JavaScript, C++. Experience in propelling the success of B2B or B2C products, effectively driving revenue growth. Exposure to Capital Management / P&L (budget) responsibilities. Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience. Gaming Industry experience is required (active gaming engagement is a plus).
