Director Clinical Operations Performance, Trial Operations Analytics

Supporting that ambition, Global Clinical Operations (GCO) is the single-largest functional group with the GSK Development organization, with approx. 2 , 000 permanent people in the US, UK, Europe, and India. We accelerate clinical trials by innovative planning and high-quality data generation, to deliver GSK's pipeline for patients.

This Director, Clinical Operations Performance role is critical to drive effective pipeline delivery control by ensuring the organization robustly defines and tracks upper quartile performance against industry benchmarks and transforms the way in which GCO uses data and quantitative thinking to drive decision-making.
An ideal candidate for this position is passionate about driving improvements of clinical operations and study delivery performance using data. You will need to have a strong grounding in data analytics and its effective use for decision-making. You will have team leadership experience, and led large-scale, cross functional process optimization programs with measurable performance impact.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead all the data-driven activities necessary to drive effective pipeline delivery and improve the performance of GCO functions and study teams from planning to execution using operational data .Partner with GCO leadership to establish a new performance framework, which formalizes how, and which data will be used for planning and execution of the clinical trials, as well as how (when, how often) each function reviews, assesses, and take impactful action based on the performance insights.Lead a team of 5 performance managers, manage and prioritize the demand for analytical support .Lead the refinement, tracking and reporting of Clinical Operations KPIs and measures to support upper quartile benchmarking .Drive the roadmap of the Clinical Control Tower (CCT) platform to align it to the GCO's organization performance needs and help transition it from a reporting platform to a "Next Best Action" platform .In collaboration with the advanced data analytics team, proactively drive deep data analysis to help identify opportunities for improvement and greater performance and quality .Collaborate with the data stewardship team and source systems business owners to improve our operational data quality .Represent Clinical Operations in a range of cross-functional groups, global functional committee(s) and initiatives intended to enhance function and company efficiency and productivity, regionally and globally .Interface with and manage external benchmarking studies and various analysis to ensure high performance .Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Bachelor's degree in B iolog ical Sciences, A nalytical Science s or closely related discipline s .Minimum of 8-10 years of related C linical T rial experience with the last 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO company .Proven experience in leading large-scale, cross functional process optimization programs with measurable performance impact 5+ years .Team leadership experience, with s trong interpersonal skills and a collaborative and servant leader management style.Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize data (source, consolidate and mine data) and create robust data visualiz ations to convey messages .Strong i nfluencing s kills at all levels and across the matrix with excellent C-suite communication skills .Preferred Qualifications:
