Description
Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Deputy Project Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This position will directly support Project Management for an engineering team involved with design and development of hardware-in-the-loop simulations based on military systems and subsystems. The position will assist the Project Manager and will have responsibility for planning, tracking, and execution of complex tasking within technical, schedule, and budget constraints. Projects will involve diverse technology areas including electronics, RF, software, and aerodynamic systems.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar discipline from an ABET-accredited institutionDemonstrated background in military systems (or subsystems) with at least 5+ years of experience in Project ManagementExperience in Earned Value Management processes with DoD contracts.Demonstrate a strong understanding of program planning and execution techniques and tools Understanding of systems engineering principles, design and manufacturing processes, and quality systemsExperience successfully leading multi-disciplinary teams in a collaborative engineering environmentDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer interaction and presentation skillsCandidate must be a resident of the Fort Walton Beach, FL Area or willing to relocate to the Fort Walton Beach, FL Area.
Other Qualifications
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar discipline from an ABET-accredited institution
Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:
AS9100 quality systems and complianceNavigating DoD acquisition processes and methodsRisk identification, analysis, and management techniquesSubcontract management including creating SOW, and managing technical, schedule and budget for both large and small subcontractorsProposal management including identifying key partners, developing statements of work for subcontracts, planning and writing proposal response

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
