ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Deputy Cyber Security Deputy Director to join our team in Herndon, VA to provide support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. The selected candidate will ensure that RMF Cybersecurity requirements are effectively integrated into information systems through purposeful security engineering, design, development, implementation and Continuous Monitoring.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide solutions for and implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls
Produce system design documents. Support architectural analysis of cyber security features and existing system related to future needs and trends.
Perform requirements analysis, design, and integration for complex software applications and collaboration infrastructures
Conduct assessment testing and reporting in accordance with the RMF and NIST 800-53; identifies deficiencies (POA&M) and provides recommendations for solutions
Participate in the change management process, and assess security impact of proposed changes
Write implementation and design documents describing how security features are implemented
Support a multi-disciplined team in the design and implementation of the cyber security system architecture to meet the needs of the program.
Review and provide input to system requirements based on cybersecurity posture
Compiles industry best practices and lessons learned into future iterations and new designs
Provide broad based experience in IT Service Management and apply the experience to specific cyber security initiatives relating to system design, development, and operations and maintenance
Employ measures to ensure the deployed infrastructure is secure and available
Advise and assist team members to deploy and configure collection services and tools
Assist in the oversight of the operations and maintenance of the infrastructure and make recommendations to improve operations
Provide mentoring to all Cyber team members
Directly interface with customer representatives and external groups
Basic Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor’s degree in equivalent in the fields of mathematics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science and 9 years in lieu of degree 4 more years relevant experience
Must possess excellent analytical skills and be capable of quantifying risk to enterprise systems and level of compliance with security policy
Experience with modern Microsoft and VMware technologies
PKI, RSA technologies experience
Experience with assessment testing, RMF, information assurance tools, DoD STIG, and vulnerability assessment
DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification required
Experience with EMASS
Experience with ITIL, and DevSecOps
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft or VMWare certification
1+ years’ experience with McAfee EPO (DISA HBSS)
JavaScript, HTML, python, SQL or SPL (Basic Programming skills or knowledge)
1 years working with Logs from various products such as Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Linux, etc.
Experience working with Data Loss Prevention or Device Control Policy systems
Security Clearance Requirements:

Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/walking/talking and must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another (at customer site).
Communicating with others to exchange information and frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Working with computers.
