This position works out of our South Africa affiliate in the rapid diagnostics division based in Woodmead . In this division our rapid diagnostics solutions are helping address some of the world’s greatest healthcare challenges. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe.
As the Demand planning analyst EEMEA , you’ll have the chance to gathering and consolidating the future demand and needs to understand today’s and future business requirements. demand, variances, unplanned needs and help with articulation and definition of requirements as needed.
What You’ll Do
The role is an integral part of the Demand Planning for Africa and will focus on:
Understanding all the various activities that occur during the Forecast & Demand Management activities for all subregions in EEMEA.
The Analyst is responsible for interpreting raw data and identifying any patterns in it to provide clarity to the non-technical audience.
The objective of this role is to assist the EEMEA Demand Director in determining any major discrepancy between the forecasted and the actual (ordered) demand, allowing a reliable forecast.
Assist Demand Planning team in developing sales forecast by SKU over a 24 month period
Leveraging simulation / modelling & statistical tools
Track and record forecast KPI measures
Track changes during the global monthly Product Add/Remove process
Highlight any discrepancies with Master Data
Provide support with technical writing and editing as required
Assist in developing analytics to identify trend lines across several data sources within the organization
Support in developing analytics to identify trend lines across several data sources within the organization
Assist the demand planning team to develop routine and ad-hoc demand related reports and demand models for senior management in various business units
Support Demand Director in improving the Demand Validation Process
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in one of the following areas:
Business, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and/or related field or relevant business experience
Preferred Experience
Candidate must have a strong data modelling acumen i.e advanced excel – be able to build models and macros etc .
Experience on SQL is essential
Must have experience with POWER BI
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal across cultures)
Demonstration of strong influencing skills at all levels of the organization
Works horizontally across regional BU functions to inform demand forecasting and planning
Highly numerate with an aptitude for analysis
Strong project management skills across multiple priorities
People management skills
Ability to lead meetings (by phone, video conference and face to face) to drive results and build relationships
Working in a small team developing an environment of trust and effective team work is essential Long Term Strategic Planning
Continual improvement of global S&OP process to meet the changing business requirements as it develops and grows.
Identify & follow through regional demand planning improvement projects as opportunities arise
