Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for the Firm supporting all business applications and end users. Position Description:
This position is with the Enterprise System Management (ESM) department.
We are looking for an energetic full-stack developer. The team and role are ideal for someone looking for a strong career development path with many opportunities to grow, learn and develop. The role requires someone who is flexible and able to respond to a dynamic business environment. The candidate must be adaptable to work across multiple technologies and disciplines, with a focus on delivering quality solutions for the business in a timely fashion.
We work in cross-functional squads, following agile practices and leverage both cloud and on-premises technology to deliver innovative solutions. We want every developer to bring their unique voice!
We are looking for someone to help own problems and be able to demonstrate leadership and responsibility for the delivery of new features as well as working on complex legacy source code. As part of the development cycle, you would be expected to write quality unit tests, supply, and be involved in the test cycle, including proposing how an item can be automatically tested and deployed within our pipeline.
You and your chapter colleagues work in an international environment in different multidisciplinary squads, together with customers, product experts, and SREs.

The main responsibilities of the position are:
• Participate in all phases of the software development cycle as part of a multi-functional Agile team.
• Provide code review feedback, implement coding standards, and promote software quality practices, developing unit and integration tests.
• Apply DevOps practices, automation and collaborate with the operations team to roll out applications to the production environment.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in distributed software components.
• Collaborate with customers and other team members to understand technical and infrastructure requirements.
• Ability to handle competing tasks and balance multiple objectives, while consistently ensuring that the highest priority objectives are met, and quality is maintained.
• Taking part in customer-facing meetings.
• Autonomous, able to take ownership of the code or a whole project.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required skills:
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in developing in Python.
• Good knowledge and experience developing object-oriented code, including unit testing, refactoring, and other automated testing such as acceptance and e2e tests.
• Experience with the development of UI.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of development fundamentals (e.g. data structures, design patterns, abstraction, multithreading, asynchronous programming).
• Experience using feature flags or other DevOps techniques to iterate.
• Experience developing in Linux environments.
• Experience with change management and software development life cycles.
• Experience using IDE features such as refactoring tools.
Nice to have
• Experience with Java and Spring.
• Experience in Angular, or able to relate experience with another similar framework to Angular.
