Risk Management protects the firm from exposure to losses resulting from defaults by our lending and trading counterparties. The Risk Management Division is responsible for the independent identification, analysis, reporting and escalation of all market, credit and operational risk exposures arising from the Firm's business activities, acting independently of business management and providing an effective challenge process.

You will:
- Data management and data ownership of critical Market Risk processes such as VaR, Stress Testing, FRTB, etc.)
- Review, manage and document business logics of critical data domains
- Identify, measure, understand and communicate data related risks in critical MRD dataflows
- Lead the setup of new data processes as a data SME
- Participate in innovative projects related to data analysis, visualization, and process automation
- Perform analysis and performance reviews of the Data Management system
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partners distributed in different regions (New York, London, Frankfurt, and Mumbai) and teams such as Finance, IT, Risk Analytics, Model Risk Management, etc.)
- Balance between regular, development and ad-hoc related tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
You have:
- University or College degree in finance, economics, or in any other related field
- Basic understanding of financial products is required, including familiarity with risk management concepts such as risk measures, option greeks, etc.
- Good understanding of data manipulation, automation, and visualization:
o SQL (case when statements, sub queries, joins),
o Excel (e.g. VBA, v-look up, index/match, pivot tables, etc.)
o PowerBI
- Curiosity, willingness to dig deeper into data and explore linkages
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively with colleagues to meet a common goal
- Willing to be flexible and work across work-streams as needed
- Self-motivated, proactive with project manager mindset
You might also have:
- Good understanding of Agile Principles is a plus
- Experience in UAT and experience in product development support is a plus an advantage

The role includes significant collaboration with partners across the globe, particularly in New York, London, Frankfurt, and Mumbai. The candidate selected for the role will need to balance technical skills, business knowledge, process-management, and people skills to navigate the technical and organizational hurdles of shepherding the valuable corporate data of the Firm.
