　　 Position Summary

　　The Retail Analytics team is helping lead the effort to drive improved consumer experience by partnering with key business areas across CVS Health to deliver impactful analytic solutions and insights. As a member of the Analytics & Behavior Change Merchandising Analytics team, you will be at the forefront of delivering high visibility projects for key CVS Retail strategic priorities.

　　In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Drive revenue and customer satisfaction in CVS Health's Front Store business using data science to optimize pricing and promotions decisions.Solve complex problems, build predictive models and optimize pricing decisions.Work cross functionally with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate their business needs into problems to be solved using statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization.We are a fast-paced team focused on building innovative advanced analytics solutions using cloud capabilities. We are looking for individuals who have a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a desire to deliver high quality work and high impact products using advanced innovative data driven approaches.

　　This role can be remote but must align with an East Coast schedule.

　　 Required Qualifications 1+ years of work experience in an applied data science and analytics or ML role1+ years of experience in SQL and Python6 months + of experience using GitHub or GitLab for code collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in a stem field with 2+ years end to end model development in optimizing pricing within a brick and mortar retail context.Experience building linear programming models for optimization and experience with optimization tools and libraries (Gurobi, pulp, pyomo).Experience working with large datasets, analyzing data and extracting meaningful insights.Experience using PySpark for large data processing.Knowledge of or experience in causal inference.Retail domain knowledge and basic understanding of pricing concepts.A strong drive to explore data and make a business impact by applying data science and the curiosity to dive deep.Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including experience creating communication materials (e.g., white paper, slide decks, etc.). 　　Bachelor's degree in quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

　　Master's degree in quantitative field or MBA strongly preferred.

　　Pay Range

　　The typical pay range for this role is:

　　$70,000.00 - $140,000.00

　　This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
