This position reports to the Manager Provider Engagement-Risk Adjustmentand sits within our Government Funding Operations team; it interactswith various groups within our organization. The team ensures theaccuracy of payments received from government agencies within RiskAdjustment programs, with primary focus on accurate reporting of medicalclaim outcomes to agencies such as Health and Human Services (includingCenters for Medicare and Medicaid Services). Accurate reporting helpsensure appropriate member premiums and optimal benefits.
The Specialist will have flexibility to work onsite in our MeridianIdaho campus and/or hybrid location (onsite Meridian Idaho +work-from-home); it may potentially have ability to work fully remotewithin a mutually acceptable location. #LI-Remote; #LI-Hybrid
Required Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, InformationSystems, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Twoyears\' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)
Required Experience: at Specialist I, specific experience is notrequired, though 1/+ years in data or business analysis, reporting,and/or healthcare is preferred. At Specialist II, 2/+ years\' healthindustry, related data reporting experience is required.
Preferred skills, at any level: proven experience in Excel, as wellas familiarity with SQL and Tableau. Prior healthcare or health industryexperience is ideal.
Your day may look like:
Generate consolidated monthly program reporting from a variety of datasources (portal extracts, Excel files, SQL tables, etc), consisting ofrisk adjustment program performance trend reports as well as detailedmembership reporting for provider partners across multiple lines ofbusiness. Assisting in the data integrity validation of current andfuture reports, portals, and tools as needed. Working collaborativelywithin multiple teams to develop automated and/or repeatable process fordata retrieval, formatting, consumption and delivery. Your scope of workmay include:
Building and maintaining documents around policies, procedures, andbusiness requirements.Evaluating existing reports and making recommendations for reportconsolidationProviding information to analytics teams with enterprise datarequirements.Participating in and providing support for enterprise-wide datainitiatives and master data management projects.Collaborating and participating in cross-departmental andmulti-functional data teams.Providing client reporting using premade solutions or making basicmodifications to existing SQL or other reports.Following process documents to perform repetitive tasks.Monitoring incoming requests and providing responses for basicinquiries.A Specialist II may also:
Subject matter expert (SME) in multiple tools pertinent todeliverables. May also provide in-depth training presentations onstandard methodologies within multiple tools.Validates, reviews, and reconciles data and reports prior torelease.Uses demand management processes to handle and prioritize incomingreporting, data, and support requests.Creates training materials and content for internal and externalreporting users. Builds , maintains and validates documents of highcomplexity.Evaluates existing reports and makes recommendations for drivinginnovation and report consolidation to meet ma ket demands reducingthe need for ad hoc requests.Reasonable accommodations
