In this job, as a Data Analytics, Sr Specialist, you will collect, analyze, and report on various types of data to support business decisions and strategic planning. You will use your skills in data science and big data mining to identify patterns and trends and provide insights for improving business performance. You will also look for ways to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes and stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices.
You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that works on challenging and impactful projects across different functions. This position requires a high level of analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a passion for data and innovation.

Analyze and compare different technical/operational solutions based on operational and/or technical experience (e.g., scope changes, standards updates, remediation options, resource and operational trends, analytical expertise, etc.) Recommend the best prioritization, risk identification, and issue mitigation strategies for workflow and long-range forecasting. Provide insights to the client team based on operational and technical skills (e.g., subject matter expertise, forecast, and trend data) Contribute technical expertise and operational knowledge to the development and implementation of the client's operations and/or process improvement projects. Participate in project team discussions to solve complex business and/or technical problems.
Qualifications
The Essentials
Five (5) or more years experience in technical or analytical activities and providing recommendations. Five (5) or more years experience creating reports, providing analysis and conclusion relative to objectives. Experience with SAP enterprise data system. Experience using the advanced functions of Microsoft Excel such as V-Lookups, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, Macros, scripts.
The Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, STEM or related field. Experience developing visualization dashboards in Power BI. Ability to engage and support clients with minimal support. Proficiency in SAS. Experience with performance metrics (creation and monitoring). Experience with taking initiative and accountability for the accuracy of information and for achieving results.

This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
