Position Summary:
As a Cybersecurity Metrics Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and presenting cybersecurity metrics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement of our cybersecurity posture at Stryker.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)
Utilize creative approaches to make complex security topics accessible and interesting to non-technical staff.Create engaging and informative Cybersecurity awareness campaigns tailored to various audiences within the organization including design and implement marketing strategies to promote cybersecurity awareness internally.Develop and manage content for newsletters, intranet, and other communication channels.Analyze and interpret cybersecurity metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, identify trends, and provide insight to potential security risks through metrics.Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to visualize cybersecurity performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and key cyber risk indicators (KRIs).Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to define, measure, and report on performance metrics aligned with CCI goals and industry standards.Assess existing data sources and recommend improvements to ensure accurate and relevant metrics collection.Work closely with stakeholders to understand their metrics needs and provide guidance on best practices for metric selection, measurement, and reporting.Conduct regular reviews of security metrics to ensure their relevance, accuracy, and alignment with CCI objectives.Automate data collection, aggregation, and reporting processes to streamline the generation of cybersecurity metrics and enhance efficiency.Assist in the development of executive-level cybersecurity reports and presentations, summarizing key metrics and providing insights to facilitate decision-making at the CCI leadership level.Stay informed about the latest developments in cybersecurity metrics, benchmarks, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to enhance the CCI metric program.
Education & Special Trainings:
• BS in Computer Information Systems or equivalent
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM is preferred
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum of one to three years' experience in IT or similar field.
• One years' experience in information security, cybersecurity, or similar functional areas
• Experience working with third-party providers - preferred
• Experience driving change within an organization - preferred
Physical & Mental Requirements:
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and identify Information Security solutions to challenging business problems
• Demonstrated ability to manage/organize
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication at all levels
