Position Overview:
This role supports the Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) section. It focuses on Cyber architecture, technology evaluation, testing, and compliance within the US market, contributing to the delivery of products and services to Ground Combat Platforms. Reporting to the platform Chief Engineer, Systems Engineering Manager, and functional management, this engineering position involves a broad range of responsibilities.
Key Duties and Skills:
Exercise authority and responsibility for Cyber products and tasks, facilitating cross-functional technical integration within schedule and other constraints.Manage and support the identification, development, and implementation of cyber-physical design best practices, tools, and education across the engineering enterprise.Develop and manage system requirements and interface allocations, including Performance, Space, Weight and Power-Cooling, Reliability and Maintenance (SWaP-CRaM). Enforce these across the design team.Coordinate requirements, architectures, system designs, and changes. Manage inputs and resolutions for requirements, trades, and alternatives.Develop, support, and conduct trade studies for system and subsystem design, considering system-level impacts including space, weight, power, cost, reliability, and performance.Oversee and support the development and execution of verification plans, including testing and production.Participate in design and integration troubleshooting/Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) across various project stages.Develop and evaluate checkpoint and design milestone artifacts, ensuring technical accuracy and contract compliance.Coordinate with platform Design Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for threat analysis, interface development, and requirements compliance.Evaluate new Cyber technologies for potential application in products.Manage and participate in peer reviews.Position Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related science (relevant cyber technical certificates and management credentials considered).Minimum of 5 years' experience.Eligibility to obtain a US security clearance (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible).Preferred experience with engineering and/or military projects.Experience in military vehicle development and integration.Proficiency in developing and managing system-level cyber requirements.Familiarity with electrical line replaceable units and electronic hardware troubleshooting.Experience in cyber warfare (offensive and/or defensive), embedded systems, and automotive/military applications.Understanding of software and computer science principles.Experience in embedded system or software top-level design.Expertise in security system integration, testing plan development, and test execution.Knowledge of vehicle cyber posturing and tailoring of cyber controls.Familiarity with cyber physical system security requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).Ability to work in and around military vehicles; passing the ASR test for confined space is desired.Willingness to travel up to 15% (mostly domestic, some international).US Citizenship Requirement:
