Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The Customs & Trade Inisghts Americas Associate will support the sector with information, data, and analysis that supports strategic I/E decision making for the various PEP businesses in the sector ( i.e. make vs. buy decisions, I/E scorecard /business reviews, contribution to sourcing decisions, standard SOPs and processes, I/E innovation evaluation, etc.) and will support training, learning and development, and continuous improvement for the full I/E capability. This team of specialists will create, maintain, and conduct analysis in support of the and assist with business case development. This associate will build, own and maintain these SOPs and ensure execution in compliance for their assigned business sector (s).
Your Impact
As DL114 C&T Insights Associate Americas your responsibilities would consist of:
Lead standardization, continuous improvement, and knowledge management to unlock overall I/E and Customs & Trade optimization and decision making across the Americas.Build, own select SOPs for various I/E and C&T processes aligning sector and I/E teams and insuring execution for their americas sectorProvide consistent and reliable data and analysis for commercialization, sector teams, and various leadership for I/E cost analysis and strategic decisions where needed (Make vs Buy, Sourcing, etc..) for the America.Contribute to a 4% YOY productivity from Import-Export (Customs, Duties, Assessorial charges) through cost transformation contributing to the delivery of ~$65 MM to PEP 2023-2025 and develop detailed plans for additional years 2026+ .Analyze all import/export operations for the Americas in order to identify possible C&T optimization opportunities and related compliance impacts seeking to reduce risks, compliance issues, and governmental auditsLead various continuous improvement projects and support I/E teams with data, coaching, obstacle removal as they work to resolve issues or capture opportunity (Incl automation and standardization) for the AmericasLead regular cadence of business reviews with capability, business and function leadership utlizing strategic and operational scorecards for the AmericasExecute capability build for the overall I/E team establishing training programs and standards for the various capability areas and insuring training is completed at right intervals and continues to keep the team on the leading edge of the ever changing regulatory environment and reducing other riskCoordinate Global communities of practice for I/E for the Americas improving sector collaboration with Global team and with each other and sharing best practices Contribute to the Americas I/E repository (sharepoint) for information, standards, reports, training materials, connection point for the global user communityBuild digital tools,reports and capabilities in support of I/E operations (Power apps, power BI) leveraging citizen developer capabilities and specialist I&E platforms like Trade Activator.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Finance degree 3-5 years Global Import-Export, and / or Customs & trade experience Experience delivering data, analysis, and insights to a business for actionAbility to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units and functionsCapable of working in a remote work group Utilize technical/functional knowledge that creates opportunities and solves business problemsAbility to drive large transformational change agenda to include people, process, technology transformation Ability to identify business issues and develop a business case / charter for actionSelf-starter with attention to detail and experience leading multiple teamsAbility to work collaboratively and proactively across multi-functional, sector, and business teams Ability to lead in a matrix organization - Proven leadership ability to influence others and drive results without direct reporting relationshipExcellent written and oral communication skills; proactively communicates using appropriate methods for situation and audience in clear, concise and professional mannerEnglish Fluency both written and verbal required, Conversational Portuguese, both written and verbal needed; Exceptional communication skills across global businesses (additional languages a plus)Strong track record to manage multiple competing cross-functional prioritiesProficient with Process Improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Belt and/or Agile certification)Proven project Leadership: Project management and team approach to deliver large scale change initiativesStrong track record of developing and building capabilities Strong track record in formulating innovative solutions and driving changeAbility to navigate through ambiguity and adapt quickly to a changing environmentStrong team player passionate about collaborating, coordinating, and committed to teamwork in all situationsAdvanced excel and other Microsoft tools (Powerapps, PowerBI/Tableau)
