  Customer Service Specialist

  Job Description:

  Come join our team! We are currently looking for our next Customer Service Specialist.

  This position is responsible for the day-to-day sales activities, sales support, and customer service tasks for specified customers and assigned accounts and serves as a liaison between Arrow's internal resources (field sales, engineering, supplier marketing, manufacturing facilities, purchasing and other corporate departments), suppliers, and customers.

  What You'll Be Doing:

  Relationship managementCoordinate resources and processing of customer quotations (Quote Center, Quote Cover Sheet, PM Views, Management, FSR, Suppliers, Value Add, and SSG) for specified customers.Order preparationThorough knowledge and accountability of supply chain engagementsNegotiate pricing (non-contract only), provide quote markup (owns strategy and application of cost plus markup) and notify the customer of related price increases, maintain margin integrityWork with appropriate supplier contacts and internal departments to solve pre-sales and post-sales problemsHandles local expediting and assists global opportunities through local escalationProvide proactive notification to customers of changes to delivery status, conduct bond reviews with customers (Shortages & Turns), manage SMI (Slow Moving Inventory) and NCNR (Non-Cancellable, Non-Returnable) customer conversations, own Hard & Planned Order management, PCN (Product Change Notification) Coordination and deliver and maintain the POI (Perfect Order Index). This is comprised of OTD (On-Time Delivery) and E2E (End-to-End Order Quality).Support the sales team with direct customer contact for Order to Invoice process within Planned Demand.

  What We Are Looking For:

  2-3 years of sales experience supporting large assigned customersBachelor's degree preferredIndustry experience with a distributor or supplier a plusStrong negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills are essentialExcellent interpersonal, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, prioritize, and deal with ambiguityProficient with MS Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel is a mustMust be comfortable working in multiple systems and applicationsNew hires are expected to be in person for the initial 8 weeks of onboarding; once this period is completed, the employee will then move to hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

  Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

  $27.90 - $34.10

  Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
