Job Description Summary
This Military CPQL position will be responsible for trainer and turbofan engine programs. You will lead the implementation of the quality strategy, with focus on delivered quality to achieve continuous improvement and minimize the risk and cost of poor quality. You will resolve internal and external business challenges as an advocate for the customer to improve products, processes, or services. In this role, you will work closely with external customers, to include the branches of the US military, the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), commercial, and foreign customers.

Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as the Quality single point of contact externally for the customer and internally for the programMaintain expertise on quality system policies and proceduresMonitor customer satisfaction and advocate for the customer within the supply chainPartner with manufacturing and assembly sites, as well as product line teams, to resolve hardware non-conformances and other quality issuesReview engineering drawings and specifications to understand potentiation non-conformancesEnsure root causes are found and robust corrective and preventative actions are takenLead quality escape containment actions and the field action plan processDrive quality improvement using data-based decision making and by applying existing technologies, approaches, and methodologiesAdvise program and contracting teams on quality requirements and the quality systemPresent project plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical spacePresent occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teamsCommunicate solutions across the Quality function and with cross-functional partner organizations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegePlus a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, technical customer support, relevant supply chain and/or equivalent military experience
