Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience as a sales engineer.
5 years of experience managing a sales engineering team, technical sales or consulting environment, or enterprise architecture/systems engineering team with modern cloud architectures and technologies.
Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Security Clearance.
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience in the National Security Market.
Understanding of the broader cloud marketplace and the differentiators in offerings.
Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
Effective presentation skills, with the ability to deliver technical presentations.

As a Customer Engineering Manager, you will work with the Sales team to introduce Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective and existing customers as well as partners understand the potential of Google Cloud, develop creative Cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, and problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks. You will be a trusted advisor to customers and advocates for our security solutions, providing support to C-Level, Security Leaders, Google Cloud Security Architects, and Security Analysts. You will also travel up to 50% as required.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $181,000-$265,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a high-performing Customer Engineering team that meets and exceeds quarterly business goals.
Lead a team responsible for technical aspects of solutions, including such activities as supporting Google Cloud develop and maintain relationships with US National Security customers.
Stay up-to-date on National Security regulations and requirements.
Identify and pursue new National Security sales opportunities and develop and deliver presentations to National Security customers.
Ensure team prepares and delivers product messaging in an effort to highlight our solutions value proposition using techniques including whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and RFI response documents.
