SUMMARY
The CRA Analyst is a member of the Community Development and CRA team, part of the Compliance Department. The CRA Analyst is responsible for managing CRA data processes including validating CRA eligible activities, creating analytic reports, and managing data quality control. The position will assist with acquiring data from primary and secondary data sources, reviewing transaction documentation for data accuracy and creating and validating management reports. Additional duties include working with business lines to increase the efficiency of data and documentation processes, assisting with examination preparation and management, and participating in planning for the regulatory change management process resulting from CRA reform.
The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) is a regulation that evaluates the Bank's performance in meeting the needs of its community, especially, low- and moderate- income communities and borrowers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned.
Conducts detailed reviews of community development loan, investment, donation, and service transactions for CRA eligibility.Ensure accurate data collection and participate in data quality control process for CRA reporting and examinations.Work with business lines and operations to ensure data accuracy and documentation of CRA eligible activities.Participate in CRA compliance self-assessments by creating charts and graphs of analysis results and assist line of business in monitoring CRA performance including site closure and opening assessments.Assist with updating the CRA Public File.Maintains current knowledge and understanding of applicable CRA regulatory precedents, updates, and trends.Advises in the updating of applicable policies and procedures related to regulatory change in CRA.Utilizes compliance software programs to produce regular CRA data reporting and dashboards for management as scheduled or upon request.Assists with CRA data-related training for employees.Assists with CRA examination preparation and support.All other duties or special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Minimum two years' experience analyzing and reporting CRA-related activities. Knowledge of mortgage and commercial lending. Requires strong knowledge of personal computer, Microsoft Office and other software equipment used in department. Must be able to prepare documents and compose business letter, and policies and procedures. Must have good knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation. Requires knowledge of office practices, procedures, and general office machines. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. Must be able to work at a faster than average pace and able to multi-task. Must possess basic language skills to write and speak clearly, effectively, and appropriate to business standards. Must have the ability to perform mathematical calculations necessary to execute the duties of the job. Must be able to make sound decisions, have the ability to recognize potential problems, and take corrective action. Must be well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail. Must stay abreast of department and company policies/changes and be adaptable to those changes. Must be cooperative and willing to assist others. Must be professional in appearance.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries of complaints of customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $45,650 to $75,323 per year (in CO & WA), and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Benefits available for this position include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability benefits and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, employee assistance program, 401(k), Paid Time Off (new hires accrue at .069 per hours worked which equates to approximately 18 days per year inclusive of paid sick time) and up to 11 paid Federal holidays.
