JOB SUMMARY
Manage and drive product costing, strategic product cost planning, budgets, reconciliation with actual budget vs actual variances.
Analyze variances and communicates explanations to management with recommendation actions.
Analyze, reconcile and bridge as well as drive productivity initiatives to bring cost reductions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties
Annual Standard Cost Roll up. (Rates)
Bill of Material Structure analysis.
Standard Cost vs Actual Cost Analysis (PPV, Methods Variance/ Usage, Cost Change).
Inventory Cycle Counts and Annual Physical Inventory active participation.
Absorption and Production variation analysis (volume, price/cost, mix impacts)
Assure correct materials consumption vs Standard Cost to avoid Inventory adjustments.
Validate Engineering Deviations
Daily/Weekly/Monthly review and follow up of main cost variations impacts to explain and avoid discrepancies.
Perform account reconciliations.
Prepare audit reports and presenting their findings to management.
Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit.
Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
5-10 Cost Accounting experience.
Advanced PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Advanced English.
Advance knowledge of mathematics and statistics and analytical skills
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and communication/interpersonal skills, detail and high attention to detail and deadline orientated.
4-5 years’ experience in finance/accounting preferred.
Excellent attention to detail
Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities
Focus on Continuous Improvement.
