Required Experience: Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent work experience. In addition, requires at least 5 years in one or more of the following areas: outside sales in target industries, business-to-business (B2B) relationship management/sales, or leadership responsibility over business operations. Must have an understanding of and/or experience with business engagement techniques and demonstrated ability to manage major accounts.
Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent work experience. In addition, requires at least 5 years of experience in fundraising and/or outside sales in targeted industries.
Travel: Up to 50%. Mainly domestic travel within the U.S. but may involve some international travel.
Salary Range: $82,632.63 - $131,997.59. Applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. 02 The Job In this pivotal role, you are the architect of growth for World Vision, utilizing a consultative outside sales approach that goes beyond surface needs. Your canvas includes target industries, where your mastery in business-to-business (B2B) relationship management and sales takes center stage. Take the reins of leadership, steering the course of business operations with finesse.
As the orchestrator of change, your mission is to uncover the intricacies of corporations' pain points and business challenges. Your discerning eye seeks not just needs but the deeper quest: Do we have a solution to help? Your expertise often leads to a reverse logistics approach, where companies grapple with returned products or obsolete merchandise, yearning for a cost-effective resolution. What sets this role apart is the focus on securing product donations – a unique dance where corporate social responsibility strategy aligns seamlessly with favorable press. Responsibilities Include:
Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate World Vision core values into decisions within the scope of the role.
Actively participate as a member of the Corporate Engagement team, managing donor relationships within the middle, major, and strategic donor tiers to generate over $100 million in cash and product resources to meet field needs through engaging corporations and foundations in multiple business solutions including cash projects, cause marketing, GIK, workplace giving, matching gift, employee and community engagement efforts and other resource generating activities.
Plan and implement account management strategies to leverage relationships for growth and to ensure the provision of key deliverables and donor expectations are met.
Represent World Vision at trade shows and with donor senior management. Cultivate and sustain donor relationships via a combination of personal visits, phone, email, and reporting.
Arrange for significant donors and those with large spheres of influence to interact with World Vision and World Vision International senior leadership, field staff, and domestic/international projects where appropriate. Link potential individual giving prospects with the Philanthropy team.
Understand and articulate World Vision's model of transformational development to increase donors' passion and involvement in multiple business solutions.
Represent the organization as assigned in public speaking engagements and media interviews.
May coach and mentor and motivate team members to achieve goals. Serve as a leader in a collaborative, team-based context.
Actively utilize CRM system to accurately and systematically plan and track donor interactions.
Manage account-specific budgets.
Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

05 Salary Range & Benefits Your compensation and benefits are important to you so they’re important to us. The full salary range for this role is $82,632.63 - $131,997.59. The typical hiring range is $90,000 - $105,000. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
