We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our tennis division. You will be primarily working on the Masters 1000 tournament, Miami Open presented by Itaú (75%), as well as an exclusive exhibition tennis format in London, the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic (25%). Your support may be required across other tennis properties in EMEA as required.
Reporting to the Consumer Marketing Manager and based out of our Miami Head Office, you'll be ready to establish yourself and your role quickly and start adding value from the outset. This role is an important hire for the tennis team, and we are looking for the suitable candidate to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Miami Open & GATC:
Ownership and development of the social media plan for select tennis properties in EMEA - including social channel strategy & plan, content strategy & plan by channel, social tone of voice development, posting cadence plan and development of social KPIs.Sponsor asset development, management & reporting - a critical part of the role, ensuring we deliver agreed social, email and website content pieces for our sponsors & encourage meaningful engagement with the content, along with reporting on performance.Digital content creation & distribution - including photography, video, GIFs, reels, IGTV, copywriting etc.Asset curation & sourcing - working with the Consumer Marketing Manager to source player, venue, tennis lifestyle & sponsor approved images, video & copy to populate our content plans with.Ongoing measurement & evaluation against agreed KPIs - producing weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual social media reports and optimising the strategy & plan along the way in response to performance.Identification of reactive social opportunities that are appropriate for our tennis properties to engage in - creation & management of reactive content (including seeking key stakeholder approval for posting in a timely manner).Trend monitoring - monitor, track, identify, share & test the latest social media trends as appropriate for our tennis properties.Community management - day-to-day management of social channels and communities; executing against the social media strategy and in pursuit of meeting social KPIs that ladder up to support the brands and business strategy.PR & Influencers - work collaboratively with IMG's PR team and Hard Rock Stadium marketing team to engage with sport, lifestyle and food/beverage content creators to reach new audiences and communicate the full offering of the tournament.
Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic specific:
CRM - the planning and execution of GATC email strategy to drive ticket sales, communicate partner messaging and engage our audience.Website - population and updating of GATC website, including weekly monitoring and reporting using Google Analytics.
Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g., shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc
The Miami Open tournament is delivered in conjunction with its venue partner, Hard Rock Stadium. You will work collaboratively with their social team (also based at HRS in Miami) to execute all digital content and is a critical part of the digital coordinator role.
You'll work normal office hours (9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday), however, you may be required to work longer hours, including evening and weekend work, when working to a campaign deadline or in the lead up to/ during an event.The tennis portfolio is global, and as such meetings may occasionally be scheduled to suit various time zones that may fall outside of your normal office hours.
You may be required to travel to each event and work on-site for the duration of the event, as necessary.
Outside of event travel there may be a requirement to travel for meetings as part of the role.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge and Experience
Deep passion for building and growing brands in digital & social channels.Strong knowledge and understanding of the digital & social media landscape.Some experience developing social media strategies & plans, creating content for digital & social channels, posting, publishing, optimising & reporting on social content across various social platforms.Adept at using content creation tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Canva etc.Experience using various social media management, tracking & reporting tools such as Slate, Airtable, Emplify, MailChimp and WordPress will be advantageous.Experience managing multiple social media communities and accounts for multiple brandsExperience directly working on (or for) a tennis or sports property or personality is preferred.Strong understanding of the professional tennis circuit including all tennis events on the ATP & WTA tour, the tennis talent & players globally as well as knowledge of the key influencers in the world of tennis is preferred.

Qualifications and Training
A minimum of two year's experience working within a digital role.A digital marketing qualification would be advantageous, though not mandatory
