Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in SANTA FE, New Mexico. As a Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our operations, which includes multiple departments like Administration and IT, Food Beverage, and Property Management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with detail-oriented standards
• Conduct thorough financial analyses to guide decision-making processes across the organization
• Generate detailed financial reports for the General Manager and Board, facilitating timely and informed decisions
• Establish and monitor budgets, working closely with department heads to optimize financial performance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of any changes that could impact operations
• Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary information to facilitate audits and ensure timely completion
• Manage the accounting team, including selection, performance evaluation, development, and training to uphold high standards of competence and performance
• Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll by staff and third-party service providers
• Act as the Plan Administrator for the 401K Plan, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with all relevant regulations
• Implement process improvements in the financial accounting systems and general ledger accounts, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
• Applicant must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Bachelor in accounting /finance Mastery of Accounting Functions is preferred.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.
• Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Experience in Auditing is essential.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is required.
• Expertise in Financial Reporting is a key requirement.
• Full Cycle Accounting skills are mandatory.
• Experience in a Call Center Customer Service environment is required.
• Ability to provide excellent Customer Service is crucial.
• Knowledge of 401k
• Proficiency in Financial Analysis is a must.
