Control Management covers jobs responsible for partnering with their relevant business group to develop and maintain a strong control environment leading to the early identification and sustainable mitigation of operational risk. Responsible for Risk Identification & Assessment, Control Design & Evaluation, Issues & Control Deficiencies, Control Governance & Reporting, and Control Programs.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Control Management Senior Manager in the Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) business. This role will be part of the leadership team supporting control testing activities, known internally as Evidence Based Control Evaluations (EBCE) for WIM Operations.
In this role, you will:Manage and develop a team with a range of experience levels and subject matter expertise in accomplishing goals and priorities associated with EBCE.Develop and manage an ongoing control testing schedule.Lead control evaluation teams on engagements with varying complexity and risk levels. Assigned controls must be well understood. Ensure the team's work is clearly documented and sufficiently detailed.Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development by managing and directing teams on strategy and execution of activitiesCommunicate concerns to executive leadership in a direct manner that facilitates the achievement of shared company objectives.Prepare reporting and data analysis on your work.Mentor and train employees across WIM Control Management to support ongoing improvement.Maintain relationships with multiple partners in WIM, Control Management, Independent Risk Management and Audit.Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and aligned with strategic objectives in Business Controls functional areaDevelop and guide a culture of Business Controls talent development to meet business objectives and strategiesDrive transformation initiatives within WIM EBCE and also across BG/EF within EBCEFocus on driving thematics through testing results and work with BCMs and business partners to resolve root cause issuesRequired Qualifications:18-25+ years of Risk Management or Business Controls experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education10+ years of Management experienceDesired Qualifications:Experience working in or supporting Wealth and Investment ManagementExperience with Banking, Lending, and TrustExperience with control testingPosting End Date:
