In this role you will prioritize and drive performance improvements that will have a large impact on business results. You will be delivering operational excellence to customers by challenging the status quo, coaching, and embedding a mindset of continuous improvement to achieve performance excellence.
Your role:
Supporting the business in resolving issues, using the known lean and 6S tools, as well using Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies, Kaizen events and 6S projects as a way to improve quality, delivery, cost and inventory within your assigned geography/business perimeter.
Ensuring Kaizen events and 6S projects are properly planned, executed and sustained.
Assessing key business metrics and situations from a “Site Leader's” point of view and engaging with the stakeholders, helping them to identify opportunities where lean, 6Sand CI tools can be used to improve such metrics and situations.
Performing overview of CAPA/CAPA management and working closely with the quality management system, within the operations.
Overseeing two locations, traveling between both as needed (AZ and PA).
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 8+ years of experience driving continuous improvement in a regional or global role (required). Experience in a global operating company (highly desired).
Your skills include working with quality/quality management systems, change management and lean manufacturing processes, as well as driving projects following PMP methodologies.
You have a bachelor’s degree in business or engineering (Lean Certified Practitioner – a plus).
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You’re an excellent communicator and have proven ability to drive change with a sense of urgency and bias for action, are detail oriented and have the ability to work with varying levels of employees.
