CLC Servicing and Settlement AnalystThe Servicing and Settlement Analyst is an entry level position in Loan Servicing within the Consumer Loan Center primarily responsible for handling basic functions with lower complexity. This position is also responsible for duties in the office such as processing daily mail, payments and payoffs, insurance check due diligence, cashier's check fulfillment and mortgage recording. The analyst will also be partnering with New Loan Boarding to resolve any out of balance conditions and exception processing in addition to cross training to develop the capability of backing up and supporting other Servicing job functions.NOTE: This position is 100% in the office due to the manual process of processing customer payments.Position Responsibilities:Daily Mortgage recording for newly boarded HELOC accounts using 3rd party servicer to place liens on collateral properties.Gather check requests from various departments within the CLC. Complete request in Business Connect (Treasury Management IPW). Release checks in Business Connect and distribute checks once received. Investigate checks that need decisioning due to alerts. Process stop payment requests and reissue checks where necessary. Follow escheatment process throughout the year.Complete basic daily transactional processing functions such as: Posting consumer payments, payoffs and HELOC check advances on the IBS loan servicing system, posting PLOC payments on Supernova, simple low complexity payment/advance reject or exception resolution and posting, returned payment posting, simple low complexity credit balance refunds. Analyze and research exceptions and issues. Daily process for Wealth Management clients to process payments and draws requested by WM representatives.Review, analyze and resolve basic low complexity Banking Center, Loan Center, and FIS VBO requests communicated via the Accounting Request Group Mailbox and FIS IBS Work Queue under the guidance of an experienced Loan Settlement Specialist.Review large HELOC checks for fraud prevention purposes. Daily review for counterfeit checks and signature reviews.
Position Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance1 year of experience in basic account balance and reconcilement1 year of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
