About Compass Call Logistics Support Specialist

  Job Description

  BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a Compass Call Logistics Support Specialist. The support specialist will: coordinate Logistics Support functions for assigned programs and develop/maintain logistics and support programs to meet Base, FAA and OSHA standards compliance. The Candidate will monitor requirements, coordinate, sustain and manage Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and ensure compliance with all government and BAE Systems Asset Management policies and Accountability standards.

  Additional responsibilities include the following:Conduct inspections of tools and equipment for condition and serviceabilityEnsure Tool Accountability program meets/exceeds base requirementsEnsure calibration requirements (TMDE) for field systems/equipment meet Repair Station and local compliance standards.Familiarity with Sortie Generation, Maintenance Analysis and MetricsEnsure HAZMAT/HAZ Waste compliance with Base, Local, State and Federal Government instructions/regulations.Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

  Candidate may be required at times to rotationally support 1st, 2nd or 3rd or weekend shifts, to support site OPTEMPO.

  Deployment events will range from one to twelve consecutive weeks at a time and will be travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

  Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.

  Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  Active DoD Secret security clearance

  Knowledgeable in the Microsoft Office Suite

  Excellent verbal and written communication skill sets; works well in a team/customer environment.

  Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  Highly desired skill/experience:

  Experience with Air Force Aircraft Support Section or equivalent

  Pay Information

  Full-Time Salary Range: $54500 - $92700

  Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
