Job Description:
The Communications Manager is responsible for helping plan sponsors at not-for-profit organizations communicate important information about their retirement plans to their plan participants. This role provides recommendations on the development and production of multichannel communications and is responsible for the production workflow and timely, quality final delivery. This candidate works collaboratively with multiple client service team serving the needs of multiple clients - often with complex retirement programs.
The Expertise We're Looking For
Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or related field strongly desiredPrint production and digital marketing experience strongly desiredFive to seven years of project management experience preferredExcellent written and oral skills, attention to detail, editing and proofreading skills.Proficiency in the following: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The Purpose of Your Role
The Communications Manager is responsible for the production workflow of required and discretionary multi-channel communications that are distributed to retirement plan participants at clients served by Fidelity's Tax-Exempt Market division. These may include print and email communications, enrollment kits, videos and websites that are used during specific retirement plan events and ongoing throughout the year. Responsibilities encompass original piece production through ongoing updates and maintenance.
The Communication Manager works closely with multiple Communication Consultants to understand and support the needs across multiple clients and retirement plans. The Manager seeks ways to improve the scale and efficiency of programs and provides recommendations to the internal client service team related to the development and deployment of communications. They will have direct interactions with clients to consult on projects as needed.

The Value You Deliver
Complete oversight and execution of communications across a broad array of channels and systems, including print, email, and web.Complex problem-solving skills to resolve production issues and inventory management challenges.Finding opportunities to improve internal processes and increase time and cost efficiency. In-depth knowledge of Fidelity's digital workplace platform (ie NetBenefits) to effectively coordinate client-requested customization from posting of communications to troubleshooting custom requests.Analysis of client and CC requests to provide recommendations on best-practice solutions for production.Coordination with our print vendor on the printing and mailing of print communications.Ownership of procedural development and maintenance of policies and controls as applicable across the TEM market segment.Coordination with various business partners and collaboration with management to identify & implement process improvement opportunities.

The Communications Manager partners closely with the Communication Consultant in the TaxExempt Market, within Personal Investing, to deliver critical retirement plan communications and education. We are aligned closely with Fidelity Workplace Investing, as we support retirement plans for tax-exempt employers and their participants.
