　　Position Schedule: Full-Time

　　This role provides quality solutions by supporting a variety of professional, technical, and analytical duties in the operation of enterprise, client/server, and networks. Assignments include work in the areas of user and systems requirements and analysis, computer systems, network support, system maintenance, and data/database analysis/administration. If you have the proven ability to think critically and help resolve complex IT Operations Faults to remediate business impacts - this may be the role for you!

　　To be based at Edward Jones St. Louis Data Center (on-site), Fri, Sat, Sun overnight 7pm - 7a (36 Hrs)

　　Analyze, detect, identify, and correct technical problems and deficiencies by supporting one of the following areas of Digital:

　　Network Environment

　　Networking Technologies: LAN/WAN, DNS, TCP/IP

　　System Administration - Linux/Windows

　　Operating Systems: Windows, RedHat

　　Application Framework

　　SaaS/PaaS

　　Kubernetes

　　Monitor and collect data on systems performance.

　　Schedule and coordinate vendor maintenance and repair activities

　　Perform Change functions to ensure maximum performance and reliability

　　Develop, enhance, and maintain documentation for the Command Center

　　Facilitate bridge/war rooms for incident triage resolution

　　Problem Solving:

　　In most situations, the complexity of problem-solving is moderately low; however, the incumbent interfaces with various support teams and technical associates to gather data to resolve technical problems. In many situations, the incumbent follows standards, processes and procedures to resolve problems; however, there are times when further research is needed to resolve problems. Incorrect diagnosis could result in financial losses for the firm.

　　Decision Making:

　　Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems can be complex and non-routine. It is not unusual to have multiple problems occurring simultaneously.

　　While standards, processes, and procedures exist for many situations, it is virtually impossible to document all possible problem scenarios. Therefore, the Associate is often faced with making on-the-spot decisions regarding batch problem resolution. Decisions made by these associates can be complex and result in financial losses to the Firm.

　　Skills/Requirements

　　What you'll need...

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field

　　A minimum of 3 + years of experience

　　Knowledge of Cloud technologies, microservice design and architectural patterns, and Linux

　　Dev-ops tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Twistlock, BlackDuck, Coverity, Kubernetes)

　　What Could Set You Apart:

　　Knowledge and experience with any of the following technologies:

　　Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, ThousandEyes, DotCom, Grafana, etc.

　　Working knowledge of the Service Now platform including Incident Management, Change Management, Event Management, etc.

　　IT Industry best practices on IT operations including ITIL certification

　　Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and all associated technologies with server farms, storage, security, network, and all other common IT infrastructure.

　　Able to communicate and execute support documentation
