Company Details:
Family owned precision metal machining company that produces a wide range of high quality components and assemblies for the aerospace
machining industry, mainly Boeing. They create a lot of curtain rods that go on the aircraft!
Job Description:
-Set up and operate a CNC for medium-high volume production.
-Notify supervisor of abnormal situations for corrective action.
-Make recommendations for improvements in methods of performance of work.
-Maintain good housekeeping conditions and enforce safety practices.
-Complete and maintain any required documentation.
Qualifications:
-2 to 3 years of CNC Lathe or CNC Mill experience
-Understanding of basic tabletop gages – Micrometers, Calipers, sunnen gages, bore micrometers
-Basic understanding of common “G” and “M” codes
-Experience with Siemens controls for lathe machine tools, preferred
-Good verbal and written communications skills.
-Organization and time management skills.
-Problem solving/analysis
