Responsibilities
Provides project management leadership in support of BNI continuing medical education activities at SJHMC. Responsible for designing, planning, budgeting, marketing, implementation, and evaluation of on-site conferences and courses and off site events, including developing plans to expand continuing medical education programs and assessing outcomes. Will also be responsible for networking with local, national and international vendors to enhance sponsorship opportunities.
Responsibilities Include:
Generates and solicits financial support/sponsorship for Barrow conferences, courses and events.
Generates and distributes an annual report chronicling all BNI continuing medical education activities.
Develops ongoing surveys to determine the effectiveness of BNI programming.
Prepares annual budget for CME division.
Accountable for all phases of project management.
Qualifications
Experience
1-3 years of relevant experience with demonstrated accomplishments in conference planning or adult/professional education required.
3-5 years of relevant experience preferred. Experience and familiarity with Accreditation Requirements of the ACCME and the AMA PRA preferred.
Education
High School Diploma/GED required.
Proven experience in marketing, business, communications, adult education or closely related fields.
Associate's Degree preferred.
Special Skills
IT skills, excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to effectively facilitate communication and build consensus among varying constituents, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Pay Range
$25.25 - $36.61 /hour
