If so, our Defense Systems F-35 Sustainment HPSI Operating Unit, wants YOU to join our Team as an Aircraft Mechanic 4 and join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. You will be assigned as an Aircraft Mechanic 4 - Expeditor supporting F-35 organizational maintenance at MCAS Beaufort, SC. Your Mission will be to support O-Level maintenance on F-35.
Your duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :You will work directly with the maintenance department to order, track, and issue required components that directly impact aircraft readiness.You will work closely with the unit and Supply Chain Management to verify requisition details, tracking, and accurate status.You will communicate with management to provide real time information regarding component requisitions and delivery status.You will perform screening of repairable assets to verify proper serviceability before issuing to maintenance or returning to supply for rework.You will verify Electronic Equipment Logbook (EEL) records are accurate upon receipt of components and are ready for issue.You will communicate with Data Quality & Integration Management (DQIM) to resolve discrepancies of data between the ALIS System, EEL, and the physical part.You will work successfully with diverse group of coworkers to accomplish goals and address issues related to our products and services.You will assist the Time Compliant Technical Directive (TCTD) Coordinator with tracking, inventorying, and issuing of upcoming TCTD kits to keep up with maintenance demands and workflow.You will perform periodic inventories as required to ensure physical assets counts are accurate and match within the ALIS system.You will maintain and update inventory of Parts Expendable Bin (PEB) and status within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) of ALIS.You will work closely with unit maintenance leadership for tracking and disposition of outstanding discrepant components highlighted on the RMA report and IOU report.You will improve operations and increases efficiency by working with team members and customers to find workable solutions and identify constraints to prevent bottlenecks in maintenance.You will be required to take initiative on making improvements to work processes and helping to train peers to increase work in progress.You will be responsible to perform other duties as assigned by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager. Technical requirements include :Working within the ALIS system with emphasis on CMMS, EELs, Supply Chain Management (SCM) tool and maintenance documentation. Basic Qualifications :Must have a High School Diploma / GED and a minimum 6 years of mechanical/aircraft airframe/power plants/turboprop/egress/avionics and/or crew chief experience. U.S. Citizenship required. A current Secret Clearance (or higher). Ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance, as required. Ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprint drawings.Willing/able to provide temporary support to our other CLS locations and/or emerging deployments.Willing/able to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.Able to meet the physical demands of this position, including regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Preferred/Desired Qualifications :4 years or more of F-22 or F-35 Logistics / Expeditor / Maintenance Control / Production Control experience.US Navy or Marine Corps CDI, Air Force 5 or 7 Level, or equivalent Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Certification.U. S. Navy or U. S. Marine Corps experience with thorough understanding of F-35 Fighter Aircraft Systems and operations under COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 and 4790.35.F-135 Power plant engine run certification, F-35 avionics systems, fighter aircraft crew escape systems (i.e., canopy and ejection seat), experience in structural repairs and low observable system maintenance are highly desirable.Excellent communication skills and experience in a Military-focused Customer Service-Related Industry.Salary Range: $64,700 - $107,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
