United Health Care has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient focused and detailed oriented Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our team. Schedule is Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm Central Standard time. This is for a full-time (40 hours/week) position.
The Clinical Administrative Coordinator works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical, and service goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
Applies knowledge/skills to activities that often vary from day to day Manage administrative intake of members via reporting and data entry Process incoming and outgoing referrals and monitor work queues and email boxes Assist the clinical staff with uploading of documents mailing out information Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or clinical team Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests Solves routine problems on own Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines Works with others as part of a team Manage administrative intake of members Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents Assist the clinical staff with onboarding new employees Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma /GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience working within the health care industry or with health insurance 2+ years of experience working within the health care industry or with health insurance 1+ years of experience in an administrative (office) support role Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents), Outlook (email and calendar management), Teams, Power Point, Microsoft One Note, and ability to use multiple web applications Intermediate experience with writing, editing and spelling
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting A clerical or administrative support background Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
Soft Skills:
Ability to work consistently on a computer for long periods of time Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills Able to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills Positive and can-do attitude Strong communication and written skills and excellent critical thinking skills
