The schedule for this position is flexible, ranging from 20 to 32 hours per week, and will be determined at the time of hire.

As aClinic Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)and public health employee, you will serve an active role in improving the health of your community. As part of a small, but mighty team, you will provide advanced and comprehensive healthcare services, including patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment. Clinic Providers play a crucial role in promoting health and wellness within the community and collaborating with other healthcare teams and organizations.
This position may include a teleworking option from within Idaho.

Our generous benefits package elevates the total compensation for a part-time Clinic Provider.Our offering transforms the hourly pay range from $48.14 - $52.95/hour to an estimated $69.45 - $75.33/hour, showcasing the value we invest in your well-being and professional growth.
Typical Duties:
Candidates must be able to complete the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and meet all the mandatory qualifications of the position.
Provide direct patient care, including medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, patient counseling and education.
Initiate, perform, and interpret screening for laboratory tests and prescribe medications in accordance with established protocols.
Performs minor procedures as covered by the defined scope of practice.
Follow-up of abnormal tests and health conditions; serve clients across the lifespan.
Navigate an electronic health record data system and chart appropriately.
Assist with QI and population health initiatives for the primary care clinics.
Provides technical oversight and training; advises staff regarding correct patient treatment, conducts in-service training, supervises patient care of medical assistant staff, and coordinates service programs.
Provide counseling and education to patients regarding immunizations.
Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess all the minimum qualifications listed below to qualify for this position. Minimum Qualifications (MQ):
Eligibility for registration as Physician Assistant with the Board of Medicine or Nurse Practitioner with the Board of Nursing.MQ Specialty:
Valid Driver’s LicenseIdeal Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
Knowledge of medical/clinic office procedures and clinic flow.
Knowledge of universal precautions and standards needed in a clinical setting, including knowledge of prevention of transmission of blood-borne pathogens.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Electronica Medical Records Systems, or the ability to learn quickly.
Proficiency in skilled nursing procedures such as immunizations, blood-draws, wound-care, etc.
Knowledge and skill regarding immunization techniques, protocols, and schedules for children and adults.
Compassion for others, especially the underserved.
Ability to maintain a team environment.
Ability to interact well with clients, team members, providers, and community agencies.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Passion to fulfill the mission of SWDH.
