Position summary: Responsible for developing, monito ring and maintaining client relationships that result in sustainable and profitable business; seeking, developing and securing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic business, operations and tactical action plans, mentoring existing and future firm leaders, and participating in related operations, mark eting and business activities .
Essential functions and responsibilities:
D evelop and maintain a strong and diverse business/industry network
Develop relationships with new/existing clients to discover project and program information
Conduct market research and gather information on potential markets, clients and projects
Develop, monitor and implement strategic business, operations and action plans for potential markets, clients and projects
Monitor client performance trends/issues utilizing PowerBI Tools.
Obtain feedback from clients to assess past JMT performance. Develop correction action plans, as necessary with NC Operations Manager
Conduct scoping & negotiating reviews to insure better fees and supplemental agreements
Monitor select policy and industry conditions/trends and provide regular reports to firm leadership
Serve as liaison to key national industry organizations
Participate in training, mentoring and development of future firm leaders in both operations and business development
Actively participate in client and industry organizations, conferences, events, etc.
Develop and report on Metrics of Charlotte & Raleigh Offices and NC success

Required SkillsRequired Experience
Bachelor’s degree
15+ years of related experience
Comprehensive knowledge of firm’s practice areas, clients and competition
Leadership, management or supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledgeable of the RFP structure and proposal process
Strong understanding of A/E industry terminology, business practices and delivery methods\
Qualifications preferred:
Professional Registration and/or certifications in area of specialization
Working Conditions:
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
